Material

Hardened carbon steel, with special coating

• A gasket is applied to a galvanized surface, so the gasket reacts with the galvanized surface. In this way, the weak points of the galvanization are also reliably closed and protected.
• Corrosion resistance up to three times greater than that of conventional blue electrogalvanized surfaces.
• Applicable in service classes 1 and 2 according to DIN EN 1995-Eurocode 5.
• Good resistance to mechanical loads.
• Inhibits corrosion through contact with accessories.
• Does not contain chromium (VI) oxide.
• Not suitable for woods containing tannins.
